INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Fresh herbs were planted create a field of produce and the children learnt about the plant life cycle & how herbs develops it grows.
Step 2: The children were then provided with seedlings which they planted into sustainable planting pots. The seedlings used from the Woolworths Discovery Garden, however any seeds or pots can be used for this experience.
Step 3: Pots are then placed along the window edge in direct sunlight to support growth and allowing the children to water them & watch them grow!
Step 4: Once the seeds have sprouted & the plant is forming, the whole plant transferred into the Outdoor Community Garden or Kindikids Veggie Garden to contribute to the fresh produce already growing!
